In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of the top social networking applications on the iOS platform in Turkey showcased interesting trends. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Telegram Messenger saw a significant increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $46K and climbing to approximately $61.8K by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at about 58.4K in early September. Active users also rose steadily from 7.4M to 7.8M during the quarter.

NSosyal experienced a dramatic spike in downloads mid-quarter, reaching a high of 241K before settling around 5.2K at the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 292K before decreasing to about 89K.

OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $24.3K in late August. Downloads saw a peak of nearly 40K in the same period, while active users varied, ending the quarter at 174K.

Facebook demonstrated stable weekly downloads, ranging from 23.9K to 31.3K. Revenue showed a slight decline, ending at about $1.9K. Active users remained robust, though slightly decreasing from 7.3M to 7M.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained high levels of active users, consistently over 13.2M throughout the quarter. Downloads varied, with a noticeable dip to 19.9K in early September before rebounding slightly.
